Payton to Be Declared Eligible at Bonita
Mid Valley Sports has learned from sources that former San Dimas running back Jake Payton, whose recent transfer to Upland was ruled to be athletically motivated by CIF, will be declared eligible to play football at Bonita in time for next week’s meeting with the Saints.
Kurt Scoby Cleared To Play For Monrovia
According CIF Southern Section’s website and confirmed by a source close to Monrovia, Kurt Scoby has been cleared to play for the Wildcats!

Downey-Orange Lutheran Scrimmage
(Downey) CIF Southeast Division Champion Downey and Orange Lutheran lined up Thursday night for a scrimmage at Downey’s Allen Layne Stadium. Quarterback Jorge Reyna got in some reps and although he threw an interception on a long pass into the endzone early he looked good in leading his team to a score later in the contest.
