By Tim Peterson (Downey) – Downey quarterback Oscar Rios committed to Arizona Friday. Rios had narrowed it down to UCLA and Arizona before settling on the Wildcats.

Baldwin Park Tournament

The Baldwin Park Braves hosted their annual passing league tournament on Saturday. Sherman Oaks Notre Dame beat Inglewood in the Championship game. Notre Dame beat Alta Loma and Inglewood knocked off Muir in the Semi-Finals. Here are a few images from the action.

Schurr to Throw at Mission Viejo

By Tim Peterson The Mission Viejo Passing Tournament is set for this Saturday June 28. Santa Margarita dropped out of the tournament earlier this week and Schurr has stepped up to replace them. Schurr, under first year head coach Austin Montoya, has had a great summer so far.

La Serna Wins Rumble At The Ranch

La Serna beat El Rancho in overtime in the Final to win the Rumble at the Ranch at El Rancho Saturday. Los Altos was the Semi Finalist. Diamond Ranch beat Diamond Bar to win the consolation bracket. Here are a few shots.

South Gate, Western Christian Win at Keppel Let it Fly Tournament

By MVS Staff (Alhambra) – South Gate beat Nogales in the D1 Championship game Saturday at the Keppel Let it Fly Tournament. Western Christian beat Rosemead to win the D2 championship.
