Mid-Valley Division Top 10 Post week five: The top five teams all won. El Monte moved up with a big win over BG while Arroyo resurfaced by blasting La Canada. Rosemead fell out by falling to Temple City. How good is Gabrielino? We’ll know more when league starts.

VALLE VISTA Northview 20, Pomona 10 The Vikings (4-2, 2-0) extended their winning streak to three games as they took a half-game lead in the Valle Vista Standings with a win over the Red Devils (1-4, 0-1) Friday night at Pomona High.

HACIENDA Rowland 42, Diamond Bar 30 The Raiders (4-2, 1-1) erased a 24-14 halftime deficit with a 28-6 second half scoring run as they knocked off the Brahmas (2-4, 1-1) Friday night at Rowland High.

DEL REY Bishop Montgomery 34, Cantwell-Sacred Heart 14 The Knights (5-1, 2-0) remained undefeated in Del Rey League play as they crushed the Cardinals (0-5, 0-2) Friday night at Bishop Montgomery.

Rams Run Rosemead Out of North Field

By Josh Ouellette (Temple City)- The Temple City Rams upset the favored Rosemead Panthers Friday night 20-10 thanks to what TC head coach Mike McFarland called, “ really hard-working kids with big hearts,” and some fortunate bounces at North Field. Giving Temple City its first victory over the ‘Mead in three years.
