I see the resemblance to Nowitzki...

Good Morning!

Always thought if I had a son I would name him Drew…I think I like the name Dirk better these days…

Note to fan212: I will have a defensive back poll up by the end of the weekend…if not before… But this isn’t going to be any easier than the offensive linemen. For example; dealing with perpetual argument of the “bandit” in the secondary… Rosemead’s Andrew Gibson may line up in the box, right where a middle linebacker should be, but The Piper and DC Marc Paramo will come back and tell you he’s still a safety…Just be sure to have my back when the critics come after me with the long knives…

Got this from DirecTV about my Sunday Ticket”

“Don’t worry fans—you won’t pay until they play.”

Now this is a philosophy I can embrace…

Who is Ralph Galindo? Ralph Galindo played left guard for Bell Gardens last year. He got hurt and Gus Sanchez stepped in and has not looked back. Galindo, according to those in the know, is the strongest player on the team. Bench Press 365: Full Squat 380: Power Clean 255: He has been working at right guard, but it looks like he has a shot to become the starting center…

Put the killer instinct of J.J. Barea into Lebron James, and you may have a pretty good ball player…

Last Add Barea: I’m telling you if you take away shooting ability, ball skills, speed, desire, and court sense J.J. Barea is Tim Peterson on the hardwood circa 1986…

Me? I was more of a Nowitzki…minus the Lurch looks…

While its highly unlikely you’ll see me having lunch with Monrovia’s Ryan Maddox or key assistant Mike Minter at the Monrovian anytime soon…I do have to say they have a legitimate number one returning at wide receiver in Luke Williams.

Never doubted Jay Henderson or his abilities…but heading into 2010 I thought Williams was the best receiver in M-Town…Since there is expectations, with George Frazier at quarterback for the Wildcats, to go a little more linear in 2011 Williams could have a break out season…

Really? Two points? In the fourth quarter the best player on the planet only produced one bucket…after Jason Terry inserted the dagger?

How would the J.G. Wentworth song go for Miami Heat ownership? “I have the best player in the world under contract…BUT HE NEEDS GAME NOW!”

Last Add Lebron: Great ball player…but the perpetual “but” will always be he is not the greatest ever, greatest right now, or even the best in the current NBA Finals…

My new friend ESPN’s Colin Cowherd explains James’s failings by saying Magic Johnson was atrocious in two NBA Finals and didn’t have to face today’s media and “blogger” venom.

Magic struggled in his fourth title appearance, true, but he already had three previous NBA Finals appearances and two rings by the age of 25.

Pressure? Scrutiny? Magic’s reward for posting 42-15-7 in Game Six against Philadelphia in 1980 was to be blamed by his teammates for the first round bounce of 1981 at the hands of the Houston Rockets… He was looked at with suspicion by Kareem and his other teammates when he was given a 25-year/25-millions dollar contract…And he was hung out to dry by those same teammates when things blew up with then HC Paul Westhead and they all wanted the Coach fired…Magic spoke out while the rest of the roster hid in the shadows and took all the heat…

Magic knew pressure…and you don’t have to tear him down to save Lebron’s reputation…

The Dude abides…
