Panthers Flagged for a Loss
(Rosemead) – Rosemead was unable to overcome a barrage of penalties, a 90 yard kick off return, four turnovers, and two missed extra points in a 20-19 loss to Rowland Thursday night on its home field.
The Peterson Principle 8/15/11
The opening kick off for high school football is still a couple of weeks away. All the passing circuits are completed and fall camp is underway. Most teams will be throwing on the helmet and pads soon as they begin the stretch run to zero week.
Summer Mid Valley Old School Top 15
In late July is it too early for Top 10 or 20 lists? Probably, but most area schools are on dead period so we figured we would toss up an Old School Top 15 before everybody comes back. We’ve included Baldwin Park, Sierra Vista and Bosco Tech in our old school teams.

(Rosemead) – Rosemead has welcomed a familiar name into its starting lineup. Angel Alejandre may have graduated in 2009 but another Alejandre, sophomore Adanguillen, is the starting quarterback for the 2011 season.

(Rosemead) – Rosemead scored two runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to erase a four run deficit and beat El Monte 5-4 Friday in Mission Valley League action.
