With the state of the economy its time to call for the old Billy Baroo!

Good Afternoon!

Did I miss the U.S. Open? How did Tiger do?

The Golf Summit between the President and Speaker Boehner was a little disappointing…I was expecting the President to look at his caddy, Jay Carney, and say: “This calls for the old ‘Billy Baroo’…”

I lost fifty bucks on Pelosi picking her nose…

Personal belief…Everybody in the Mid-Valley Division can be beat…Although its less likely with some programs…Anbody in the top ten, with the right breaks, could win the whole thing…Throw me a name and I’ll make the argument…

I might be a little creative…I might have to move things around and be as delusional as a federal financial official about the economy…but I can make the argument…Village Christian, La Puente, Arroyo, Baldwin Park…pick a school…but I reserve the right to say: NOT HAPPENING… So don’t ask me to make an argument for Bassett…

The return of Erick Escamilla to the sidelines is possible…sooner rather than later…That’s what is being thrown at me via email…

Not feeling it for the Hall of Fame game this year…I like the coaches, I like the players…but the Air Assault out at Bonita is far more intriguing…

Note to Those Who Seem to Care: I don’t need friends…Got enough friends…In fact I might be making a few cuts in the near future…But thanks for asking…

Hearing that Chris Reed really looks like a beast for Temple City…

Note to Fans: As of September 1, 2011…The term “Beast” will be banned from the Mid Valley sports section…Overdone, overused, overboard…

…But I do plan on liberally applying the term between now and the deadline date.

For some reason I’m really interested in the NBA Draft…

Does anybody remember “The Brawl in Montreal”? Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran fought on this date in 1980, in Canada.

Opinion? I hope De’Shawn Ramriez plays for Arcadia in 2011…And Mid Valley Sports is the wrong place to come to bash Jon Dimalante or the Apache program…Other than the parking, that place is top drawer.

Last Add Bonita: Bonita Alum says I’m wrong in picking against the Bearcats in the Smudgepot…

So Wilson is in its dead…okay…explains it…Now will someone give me an update on linebacker Raymond Sierra?

Ted Clarke, again, has expressed no interest in West El Monte Poly…Time for the folks on Flair Drive to go another direction…

“It’s gonna be a rough patch of road for the Tartans,” says one Glendora Alum. “I like Quinsey, I just hope they give him time. Nothing though is certain with a walk-on.”

The Dude abides…
