The Peterson Principle 11/12/12
La Salle was not the inferior team Friday night. This wasn’t Village Christian beating Azusa in 2010. In that game Azusa was 10-0 and Village Christian was 6-4. However Village was the superior team- stronger league, more physical, faster, etc. The Crusaders were simply better than Azusa and came away with the victory.
First Down Means First Win for Rams
(Glendale) – Nick Starling picked up a first down on a fourth and two run with two minutes left to seal a 15 -14 Temple City win over Hoover Thursday night at Moyse Field. Starling rushed for another first down 90 seconds later and the Rams ran out the clock to get their first win of the year.

Rams Put on the Pads
(Temple City) – They’re coming off a season in which they finished 1-9. They’re playing in the same league as the two time defending Mid-Valley Division champions. They didn’t win their first game until the last game of the season. So it’s safe to say that the Temple City Rams are uh…flying under the radar coming in to 2012.

Moors Finish Strong, Top Rams 33-13
By Johnathan Saller (Temple City) – Alhambra started slow but finished with a flurry scoring 27 of its 33 points in the second half in a 33-13 win over Temple City at North Field Thursday night.

Good Afternoon! I’ll buy Pomona, but I think the reluctance of some in doing the same is because the Red Devils were hard to catch up with over the summer…I know because I wasted several pints of gas driving to St. Paul to see a scrimmage that didn’t happen.
