Andrew Fischer makes Diamond Ranch very dangerous.

It is evident that Arcadia and West Covina has shown itself as the cream of the Southeast with wins to start its league. Watch for Mayfair and Diamond Ranch to make some noise in its leagues in the weeks to come. La Serna has become the early favorite in the Del Rio after Santa Fe’s nightmarish preseason.

  1. Arcadia (4-1) – Offense can score in bunches.
  2. West Covina (4-1) – Look to continue Hacienda League win streak.
  3. Mayfair (2-2) – Tough preseason should pay dividends.
  4. La Serna (4-1) – Lancer defense shutdowns Warren.
  5. Diamond Ranch (2-3) – Punishing running game combined with a tough defense.
  6. Bonita (2-3) – Have a feeling Bearcats will work on hands drill.
  7. El Rancho (3-1) – Should be on four-game win streak heading into Del Rio League play after FoHi this week.
  8. Muir (2-2) – Not ready to jump ship yet after loss to Arcadia.
  9. Santa Fe (1-4) – All four losses were expected but not by the margin.
  10. Burroughs (1-3) – Zander Anding will run through you and over you.
  11. California (3-1) – We should just start calling Jim Arnold, “the Miracle Man”.
  12. Crescenta Valley (3-1) – Shuts out Hoover in Pacific League opener.
  13. La Mirada (1-4) – Didn’t have any answers against Bellflower.
  14. Diamond Bar (2-3) – Brahmas defense couldn’t contain Chris Solomon.
  15. Los Altos (4-1) – Get brought back to earth by Walnut.
  16. Whittier (3-1) – Anthony Viramontes scored two touchdowns in loss to Paramount.
  17. Burbank (2-2) – Three-headed run attack will make life difficult for Pacific League foes.
  18. Glenn (3-2) – Get off on the right foot in Suburban.
  19. Walnut (1-4) – Finally beat a team with winning record.

Pasadena (1-3) – Bulldogs need to guard against thinking they have a “W” against Glendale
