“Old School” consists of the original 12 teams that we covered at the Mid Valley News. Since then we’ve expanded to 66 and beyond but we’ll always remember where we came from. Here’s how they look after week seven.

2. Monrovia (4-3) – Wildcats looking to run Rio table.

3. Arroyo (6-1) – Big game this week vs. Rosemead

4. Alhambra (6-1) – Moors get big win on the hill.

5. El Monte (5-2) – Lions playing for league title every week.

6. Rosemead (4-3) – Panthers still smarting from loss to Lions.

7. South El Monte (5-2) – Eagles looked good early; will they in league?

8. San Gabriel (3-4) – Mats have picked it up since league play started.

9. Duarte (5-1) – It’s Tip and the Miracles contending in the Montview.

10. Mt. View (3-4) – Vikes have been outscored 92-17 in two league games.

11. Gabrielino (3-4) – It’s do or die time for Gabby.

12. Temple City (0-7) – It’s the first time Rams have been last in any poll.
