Buena Park Head Coach Anthony White has earned ABC 7 Coach of the Week honors. The Buena Park football program featuring interviews with White and player Carlos Mota was showcased on the Sports Zone with Rob Fukazaki following the USC – Stanford game Saturday night.
White played his high school football at Rosemead where he won the High School Heisman award before moving on to play at Utah. He was an assistant coach at Rosemead and the Head Coach at Temple City in 2009 before taking over at Buena Park in 2010. He led the Coyoted to the playoffs in his first year. This year Buena Park has resumed its winning ways with a 6-2 record.
