1. NFL, referees, agree on an eight year deal to end lockout.

2. The Chargers sign WR Malcolm Floyd to three year contract extension.

3. Bill Belichick fined $50,000 for contact with an official after Sunday night’s game.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Mundy fined $21,000 for his hit on Raiders wide receiver Darius Heyward-Bey last Sunday. There was no penalty called on the play.

5. Las Vegas casinos offer betters refunds for money lost due to the touchdown call for the Seahawks Monday night.

6. Whittier College quarterback Steven Rivera named SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week for leading the Poets to a win over Puget Sound last Saturday.

7. Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays is suspended one game and fined $50,000 for a hit on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. The shot took off a piece of Schaub’s ear.

8. Azusa hasn’t lost a Montview League game since November 9, 2007 – (24-13 at La Puente).

9. Monday night’s ESPN SportsCenter immediately following the Seattle-Green Bay game drew the largest audience in the history of SportsCenter.

10. Former Philadelphia Phillie third baseman Mike Schmidt turns 63 today.
