In this pic from 2002 Arcadia quarterback Brian Ziska consults with head coach Jon Dimalante during the Apaches 27-14 victory over Glendale at Moyse Stadium.
Notable that night was the debut of freshman running back Audarrius Bailey, he wore number 14.
Ziska, a three year starter (welcome the correction), led Arcadia in 2002 to nine straight wins out of the box before dropping the regular season finale to Crescenta Valley 49-28.
A miracle Michael Howe catch, sprint, and score in the last seconds against Beverly Hills advanced the Apaches to the second round of CIF where they fell to Antelope Valley.
Arcadia has not reached the second round since.
Ziska is currently attending law school.
