Fausto Martinez scores three times for the Saints

(San Marino) –  San Dimas advances to the all-so-familiar C.I.F Semi Finals after a 56-28 victory over the San Marino Titans on their home field Friday night thanks to the offensive firepower and hard hitting defense of the Saints.

Offense scored a total of 7 touchdowns (5 rushing, 2 passing) and the defense came up with 2 key interceptions to set up San Dimas with a battle against Arroyo next week.
The pivitol momentum changer came when SM was down 28-13. QB Andrew Ferraco was leading the Titans down the field before being hit hard and throwing a short armed pick to Seth Haynes.
Josh Avila then connected with Josh Aguilar on a 31 yard strike into the endzone to put SD up 35-13 at half.
***Avila also found Chris Rufus on a 66-yard bomb for a 42-13 score in the third.
***Fausto Martinez finished off three SD drives with touchdown runs of 1, 6, & 3 yards.
***SD feature back Joseph “The Count” Mayorga rushed for 190 yards and a touchdown.
***JP Shohfi collected over 200 yards receiving and a TD for the Titans.

***San Marino started on the offensive line: LT: Zareh Hairapetian. LG: Jonathan Yau. C: Bryon Chen. RG: Will Cobb. RT: Cole Mace.
***S.D started game with 4 rushing TD’s
***Carson Glazier filled in after Ferraco suffered the big hit. He did mot return.
*** San Marino trailed 21-13 after Ferraco scored on 2-yard run carrying off 5-play drive.
