(Pasadena) – Muir quarterback David Madrid went 12 of 20 passing for 228 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs 27-2 win over Los Altos in the second round of Southeast playoffs Friday night.

The Conquerors defense was the first to put points on the board after Madrid fumbled a shotgun snap and chased it into the back of the end zone. However, Madrid had few issues after.

Following the safety, Los Altos running back Estuardo Marcos fumbled the ball and it was recovered by the Stangs. Muir was limited to three points following the turnover but its next three possessions ended in touchdowns.

Madrid connected with wide receiver, Teaon Mason for a 40-yard score. After the touchdown Mason scored again, returning a pick six. Finally, with less than two minutes before halftime, Madrid connected with Devin Leagons for a 15-yard touchdown pass.
