Norm Dahlia has Paraclete back in the Semis
(Pomona) – Melquise Stovall scored three times to lead Paralete to a 46-23 rout of Pomona to set up a semi final showdown next week with Monrovia.
Pomona got within ten at 33-23 but the Spirits scored the last two TDs to put the game away. Brett Nelson threw a touchdown strike to James Holland in the third quarter and was knocked out of the game in the process but he should be able to play next week.
Darren Lockett threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns for Pomona but it wasn’t enough. Paraclete fell to Monrovia last year in the Mid-Valley Division championship game.
