SG standout Isaac Valdez eyes the future
San Gabriel quarterback Isaac Valdez has received two scholarship offers this week.
The three year starter received offers from Iowa Wesleyan and Northwestern College in Iowa.
Valdez has accounted for 63 touchdowns in 32 games as the SG quarterback, and 9,001 total yards (passing/rushing). He led the Matadors to an Almont title in 2007, and playoff appearances each of the last two seasons. San Gabriel is currently 5-4 and expected to qualify for the CIF playoffs next week.
No decision has been made, Valdez will consult with his family and coaches in the days and weeks ahead.
