Schurr 34 Alhambra 0 FINAL: The Moors homecoming party was crashed by Noah Quintero’s 200 rushing yards (and touchdown) and the Spartans.

San Gabriel 14 Keppel 6 FINAL: The Matadors get a 6-yard touchdown run from Alex Garcia in the first quarter and a 24-yard run from Ricardo Contreras with 2:21 to play in the fourth to secure their second win (first on the field) of the season. The Aztecs lone score is a 44-yard touchdown pass from Elijah Castillo to Daniel Moreno. Keppel falls to 1-8, and has now lost 75 consecutive Almont League games.

Sierra Canyon 42 Viewpoint 10 FINAL: The Patriots beat the Trailblazers a year ago and took an early 3-0 lead in this one before SC lit the fuse. Kohl Hollinquest throws for one, rushes for two, and the T-Blazers are 9-0.

Bellflower 30 Artesia 16 FINAL: The Bucs Marquise Lowe rushes for 153 yards on 21 carries. He now has 1,337 yards on the season. Bellflower finishes the regular season 7-3 and as is hoping for a Southeast Division wild card birth.

La Mirada 56  Cerritos 0 FINAL: Christian Lara fires four touchdown passes as Matadores improve to 8-1 overall.

Los Altos 28 Diamond Ranch 10 FINAL: Trenchman David Tolmachoff scores two touchdowns, one on a fumble return, another on a pick, as the Conquerors surprise the Panthers.

Chino 45 Walnut 30 FINAL: Mustangs quarterback Micah Maes runs for three touchdowns and passes for another…but it’s not enough against the Cowboys.

Charter Oak 33 West Covina 21 FINAL: Kam Brown throws for 320 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Chargers. (See story)

PALOMARES

Bonita 34 Ayala 14 FINAL: Tanner East was terrific and Danny Gelalich was awesome as Bearcats blowout to 28-0 lead and hold on for victory…and likely playoff birth.

Glendora 38 Diamond Bar 6 FINAL: Matt Fink builds on his outstanding 2014 campaign with three touchdown passes. Tartans are now 8-1 overall and face South Hills next week to decide Palomares crown. The Brahmas, with Antonio Hull at quarterback, fell to 3-6 on the season.

RIO HONDO
Monrovia 24 La Canada 7 FINAL: Octavius Spencer returns two punts for touchdowns as Wildcats win sloppy game. Ryan Breneman adds lone Spartans score on 28-yard run.

South Pasadena 41 Temple City 18 FINAL: The Tigers came out dominant on the ground. Matt Ayala rushed for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns. South is still alive for a playoff birth.

SUNKIST
Summit 45 Fontana 14 FINAL: Skyhawks quarterback Keshon Flemings throws three first half touchdown passes and running back Stephen Carr rushes for 110 yards and three scores.

Linfield Christian 23 Arrowhead Christian 14 FINAL: The Lions jumped to a 17-0 lead before AC rallied, but the rally come up short and LC won its third consecutive game.

Aquinas 35 Ontario Christian 7 FINAL: Falcons win secures them third place and playoff birth. 

DE ANZA
Desert Mirage 13 Twentynine Palms 7 FINAL: The Rams Celso Deleon scores on a 65-yard interception return and a 70-yard punt return in the first quarter. Deleon finished with 77-yards rushing and put 5-4 Desert Mirage in the playoff discussion. The Rams were 0-10 in 2013.

Shadow Hills 62 Rancho Mirage 12 FINAL: Knights quarterback Isaiah Ortega-dage rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He also passed for another as Shadow, De Anza champions, is peaking at just the right time. Tony Williams rushed for three scores and 80-yards.

NORTHERN
Mission Prep 24 Santa Maria 6 FINAL

Templeton 15 Nipomo 14 FINAL: The Eagles Angel Avelar, who had a game winning kicked blocked two weeks ago against Morro Bay, blasts a 25-yard field goal as time expires to beat the Titans. The teams combined for 16 fumbles in a driving rain storm.

OLYMPIC

Valley Christian 34 Village Christian 29 FINAL: Village rallied back from a 34-13 deficit but Valley’s defense stiffened in the fourth and got the win.

PREP
Rio Hondo Prep 34 Firebaugh 13 FINAL

SOUTH CATHOLIC
Verbum Dei 7 Cantwell 6 FINAL: The Cardinals kept the Eagles Davir Hamilton in check for the most part, but saw their offense come up flat. Hamilton’s one big play came on a 60-yard touchdown catch that saw him out jump  the Cantwell secondary in the second quarter. With 1:41 to play in the fourth the Cardinals got on the board to make it 7-6, but were flagged with ‘excessive celebration’ after the score. The point after attempt was wide left from 28-yards.
