San Dimas Names Holman

Long time SD & Zernickow assistant Mark Holman plays a huge role in coordinating  the Saints running game.

Long time SD & Zernickow assistant Mark Holman now be running the show for the Saints.

San Dimas High School named Mark Holman, a ten year assistant under former coach Bill Zernickow, as its new head coach.

“San Dimas is a premier job in the San Gabriel Valley,” said Holman. “It has been my home for my family and I for the past 10 years and I am very excited and grateful to have been chosen. I’m excited to move forward help the Saints grow both on and off the field. San Dimas is a special place and I look forward with the job ahead.”

Holman becomes the 11th head coach in school history. The Saints fielded their first varsity squad in 1972. That team won its first two games, finished 5-4, and Wayne Moses led the team with over a thousand yards rushing.

Note to Holman: The last San Dimas head coach to win his first game was Ted Clarke in 1997. 17-0 over Don Lugo.
