Sometimes watching Crescenta Valley OC Hudson Gossard work a sideline is as entertaining as watching the Falcon offense itself.  He runs, he jumps and twists and turns. He yells, he screams, and he encourages, but most of all he coaches. And in the end he made the CV offense the most explosive in the Southeast Division.

The Falcons scored 581 points on the season, the most in the Southeast Division and before you bust out the calculator that’s 41.5 points per game. Twice Crescenta Valley racked up over 50 points in a game  including a 55-14 win over Verdugo Hills in the opener. The Falcon faithful knew it was going to be a big year right off the bat.

Gossard’s play calling and offensive schemes constantly had defenses on their heels. No matter where the Falcons were on the field you could feel a big play coming. CV had some of the best talent in the division but nobody could have brought it all together like Gossard. Players testified all year as to what a j0y is was to run the plays out of Gossard’s book. For that Hudson Gossard is our Southeast Division Offensive Coordinator of the Year.
