2.  The Lakers dropped their preseason opener 90-71 to Utah. Kobe Bryant score five points in limited action (12 minutes).

3.  Arroyo’s Jason Villa has recorded 94 total tackles through the Knight’s first six games.

4.  Drew Brees threw his 400th career touchdown in Sunday night’s win over the Cowboys.

5.  Josh Johnson of Kaiser has rushed for 1031 yards and 15 touchdowns in five games.

6.  Claremont at Bonita Friday night at 7:00.

7.  Brentwood’s Holden Thomas has thrown for 1458 yards and 15 touchdowns in five games.

8.  On this day in 2001 Barry Bonds hit his 71st home run breaking Mark McGwire’s record of 70.

9.  San Marino’ Aiden Santino 774 receiving yards with 12 total touchdowns.
