1. The APU Men’s Basketball team clinched it’s second consecutive PacWest Championship with a 85-75 win over Hawaii Hilo Saturday night.

2. The Anaheim Ducks knocked off the Kings 4-2 Sunday night to pull to within two points in the NHL’s Pacific Division.

3. The La Canada Lady Spartans will take on Antelope Valley Friday or Saturday night in the Final of the CIF Divsion 3A basketball playoffs.

4. The New England Patriots and Tom Brady have agreed on a contract extension through the 2019 season.

5. The APU Women’s Basketball team clinched it’s first PacWest title Saturday with a 64-47 win over Hawaii Hilo.

6. On this day in 1972 Hank Aaron becomes the first player in MLB history to sign a contract for $200,000 a year.

7. Ryley Thompson scored 22 points as the Duarte Lady Falcons beat Lompoc 43-42 and advance to the CIF Division 4AA finals.

8. The PacWest Basketball Tournament for both men and women starts Thursday, March 3 on the campus of Concordia University in Irvine, CA.

9. The LA Galaxy open the 2016 MLS Season this Sunday against D.C. United at 7:00 pm at the Stubhub Center.
