2.) Former Rosemead Lady Panthers basketball coach, Jay Gauthier has been hired as an assistant at LA Valley College…Gauthier won 10 league titles in 12 years at Rosemead. Eight of those ten were undefeated as the program compiled Mission Valley League winning streaks of 44 and 46 games. His overall MVL record was 108-12

3.) Thirteen years ago today, Eric Gagne established a major league record 55th consecutive save in the Los Angeles Dodgers win over the Houston Astros.
