@fake P-town, do your homework and come back and speak to me. If a coach got in a fight cif would have suspended them. You must just be a guy who son didn’t play or you sat on the bench. Check your records and let everyone know how many all Americans came out of pomona and how many athletes made to pros. In the last 3 years they have been pretty successful, so sometimes you have to give credit. I think everyone team deserve some credit for what they do year in and year out.

I seen the video, coaches were fighting from both schools. It was ugly, I am just stating the facts. Perception is reality. Both schools should be ashamed of themselves. You can’t tell me Pomona is a model school. The kids that can leave, leave for better situations and I don’t blame them.

@p-town. Nobody from pomona would say what you said so put a name that you bash. To let you know the fight in gym was between parents and not players. So you two grown ups acting like kids. The game continued without any incident between the two schools. Believe none of what you hear. Learn to get the facts yourself. I can give you my contact info if you have any questions.

What do you grown men gain from bashing a school and kids. So let’s do some facts since some of you guys don’t know. First, the 2014 teamy had no transfer all homegrown kids and won a championship. That same year U.S. news magazine award them 1 of the top schools in the area. Look that up. 2015 team had 3 guys transfer 1 was a homegrown kid that moved back. They are the last team to beat a great Sierra canyon team. As far as safety when was the last time you hear a kid got shot or stab or anything about pomona high in the news. I will wait for your response. They had a English teacher get awards teacher of the year in california last year. Yes they lose alot of kids go to different schools but mainly because of people like you ,the sound called men on here. But not 1 person at pomona is complaining or fighting it. Be a man and stop bashing people trying do something positive. That the problem in society today we are quick to bash others. No once has any said they won a championship and followed it up with a trip to simi. Some of you guys need to try coaching and see the hard work that every high school Coach put in .

Pomona is in the weakest division in football with only 5 teams in the league. They beat up on the worst teams in the valley like La Puente, Bassett, Ganesha and Gary. If any of those schools had any kind of coaching Pomona would be in trouble. Pomona win on athletes along. No athletes at La Puente or Bassett. The only teams that could compete with them as far as athletes is Gary but Gary is a joke also.

Two years ago there was a fight in the gym that involve the players and coaches and the fans. The referees just left the gym. The game had to be finished two days later in a empty gym. The other school that they were playing was also a ghetto school. You put two ghetto schools on the same court with no security and things like this happens. That is why same city school play there football games in the day time.

Funny story last year in a 4 way scrimmage at Diamond Bar Pomona showed up talking super loud one of the coaches yelling were the team to beat, they proceeded to smash diamond bar and Arroyo, then faced against us and we smashed them, no better feeling than having his coach not say one word because his boys just got taken to the woodshed.

I echo the the thoughts of PTown. Never in a million years would I send my kids to Pomona high. Don’t blame kids at all for bouncing to a SAFE environment.

Pomona High School is one of the most unsafe schools in the valley. The students don’t listen to the teachers, proctors or security. Teachers are telling the students to get off the court and the students are telling the teachers what are you going to doing about it. It is the ghetto of all ghetto school. I would not send my kids there. Schools have a bad reputation for a reason.

Sup Petty, ok so I read your spiel. Yea so you call it trying to keep kids I call it different. Reason why is you guys take kids from Ganesha Garry every year. Just because those kids live in POMONA doesn’t mean they don’t count. I agree about other programs coming into our city charter oak and upland specifically have thriving one P-Town kids for many moons. Two wrongs don’t make it right! The last few seasons Pomona high itself has been taking kids from other programs deliberately stealing kids. A fact you can’t hide from. I will there watching if you were curious btw

It seems to me that LionsRoar is the only one that has been informed about Pomona’s situation. They not only lose kids to South Hills and CO they also lose kids to Diamond Bar, Diamond Ranch, Bonita, Claremont and Upland just to name a few you all would be surprised by the amount of kids that leave Pomona School District just to find a more “peaceful setting” but only if they knew Pomona schools specifically Pomona High School has made drastic changes and made great improvements since 10+ years ago trust me I have graduated 2 kids and a third is on his way to graduate in 2018 I just wish people would drop this stigma that Pomona recruits kids if anything Pomona is fighting to keep kids home instead of having to go out of their for a good education. Anonymous stop bashing programs who are trying to do good things for their program/community and if you’re really bold stop hiding behind that keyboard and show yourself make your way to 475 Bangor St. Pomona,CA @ 3:30 pm Monday-Friday on the football field and come speak your mind then buddy.

90% or all CIF-SS do not recruit. I thinks it’s the complete opposite 90% of schools don’t recruit can’t recruit. I will say this Pomona has been losing kids for years to Charter Oak South Hills and others.

Just to translate this post for everyone…
Hi coaches of the midvalley I would personally like to invite you to our event. We’d like for teams to bring out their best athletes so that we might have a chance to steal them. Don’t worry we’ll put our best foot forward we’ve just purchased new uniforms to help entice the kids to leave your school for ours. We’ll take good care of the kids. Thanks for surrendering your athletes I mean participating in our event.
