I heard first hand that Zavala will be the new D coordinator at El Monte HS. Word on the street is that he loves going to that King Taco near the school and that was the deciding factor!! We can’t wait for Zavala has the smell of fresh salsa from KT!!

Zavala is not going to St Paul. Where ever he goes, he will make that team better.

Buena Park has hired Davis Lowery of Alaska as its football coach. They went way out of town to get their guy. Good luck to him. BP QB is now at St. Anthony.

To AreaFan: Now that you’ve dangled a carrot, you must elaborate on why St. Paul would be a bad choice?

Is Donald Bernard still the DC at St. Paul? Is Mykael Loera following Zavala to St. Paul?

@E R.. I know it’s hard to know who’s done what unless your in the El Monte School District I’m positive if one of those schools win league we’d see a huge article with a separate article filled with pictures but what do we know I assumed The mid Valley sports page was un-bias and gave us information on all sports and teams that are successful in the area.. Ha.. go figure but wake up and see a link on where you can donate money to help arroyo purchase rings LMAO

I like Pac 5 Scout’s comments; the Ball brothers are being shown way too much attention, just like the OJ trial. There is a reason Steve Baik walked away after last year, and it’s not because the cupboard was empty.

    Zavala is definitely heading elsewhere

#3: Some 5’9″ kid from Pico Rivera scored 102 points in a high school game in 2003. A record that still stands. No coverage to speak of. No Daddy bragging in CBS, ESPN ad nauseum. No $ signs dancing in that kids folks eyes. In fact the kids coach apologized to the other team the next day for allowing it to happen. To me that is a way better story. This game was like the time George Foreman took on three different pugs in one bout after getting thumped by Ali. Chino Hills gets clocked so they have a sophomore put up 92. Whats up the next game? Spinning the ball on your nose before you lay it in.?

Packing Phil’s bags is only a token gesture, not enough to get the Zen Master moving. Now if Spike offered to do what Jeannie used to do, we might see some cooperation.
