1. College Football Playoff Rankings: 1. Clemson 2. Auburn 3. Oklahoma 4. Wisconsin.

2. LeBron James is ejected for the first time in his 15 year career in Cleveland’s 108-97 win over Miami.

3. Clippers forward Blake Griffin suffered a sprained MCL in the win over the Lakers Monday night and is expected to miss two months.

4. The Memphis Grizzles fire head coach David Fizdale after losing eight straight games. Memphis is 7-12 overall.

5. Jimmy Garoppolo will start at quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

6. The LA Chargers, who started the season 0-4, are now 5-6 and just one game back of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

7. Geno Smith will start at quarterback for the New York Giants in place of Eli Manning. Manning, 36, has started 210 consecutive regular season games for the Giants.

9. Running back Darren McFadden, 30, announced his retirement Tuesday after 10 seasons. McFadden, who was waived by the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, played seven years with the Oakland Raiders, before joining Dallas in 2015.
