1. Team LeBron beat Team Stephen 148-145 in the NBA All-Star game at Staples Center. LeBron James is named MVP.

2. Pasadena at Damien, Tuesday night, 7:00 p.m.

3. The Houston Texans advise linebacker Brian Cushing that he will be released before March 14.

4. Former Kansas City Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer signed an eight-year, $144 million contract with the San Diego Padres.

5. Monrovia should name a head football coach this week according to sources.

6. La Puente will travel to Malibu Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the CIF Division 5AAA Quarter Finals.

7. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell turns 59 today.

8. Austin Dillon wins the Daytona 500.

9. Walnut’s Agassi Goantara is averaging 18.7 points per game. The Mustangs meet the other Mustangs (Muir) Tuesday night in the Division 2A Quarter Finals.

10. “We will always make sure player heath and safety is our number 1 priority in the NFL.” – Roger Goodell.

    Interesting! Didn’t know Jude was in the mix. We should know any day now. All I know is who ever it is needs to hit the ground running. I hear former star QB Nick Bueno is looking to be a part of the staff. Now that is AWESOME

    Yep, making money is job one for professional football, but Goodell won’t come out and say it, because then the lawyers would want to take a big chunk of that income away in the form of settlement money.

    Gotta go with Damien in this game, but Lord knows Pasadena will be a handful. This is where basketball becomes very, very serious.
