1. The Pittsburgh Steelers routed the Carolina Panthers 52-21 on Thursday Night Football.

2. Steelers President Art Rooney II said they expect running back Le’Veon Bell to report to the team next week.

3. Receiver Dez Bryant completed his first practice with the New Orleans Saints Thursday and said it will be up to head coach Sean Payton whether he plays on Sunday.

4. Former Pasadena players Darius Brown II and Tavian Percy made their college debuts for Cal State Northridge and New Mexico respectively Tuesday night when they faced each other at Northridge. New Mexico beat CSUN 87-84 with a shot at the buzzer.

7. On this day in in 1996 Evander Holyfield upset Mike Tyson in an 11th round knockout in Las Vegas to regain the WBA heavyweight title.

8. El Monte’s Davon Booth has now rushed for 2,030 yards and 27 touchdowns this season.

9. The Dodgers have lost their hitting coach, third base coach and General Manager to other teams since the World Series ended.

10. “Seriously, it takes me like 30 minutes to do my hair before a game.” – Bryce Harper.

    Roy stats have an * next to them. EM was known for padding stats bigtime during that regime.

    I only saw 2 EM games,but it seemed like I saw all Booth’s TDs.
