Cajon has been a CIF Power for decades; even back to mid 80’s when they beat Arroyo, who I believe won it all the year before! And in a quality division.

The game was a lot closer thatN the score indicated. Take nkthing Away from the Cowboys they were a better team. The following week they put 77 on Rancho verde so they were legit. We walk off the field proud. The better team won.

You noticed my stuff, huh? I’m graduating next June with a doctorate in trolling, and my parents are hoping MVS will start paying me, so they can get me out of the house. Hey, you had to have been at Allen Layne stadium a year ago to see an EXCELLENT Downey team get blown away by these kids from Cajon. I would have paid $50 to see this game….it was that special.

Still trying to figure out how Sierra Canyon and or Cajon made it into the Mid coverage area? Personal connection? It ain’t geographic!
From T. Peterson: Not Cajon, correct, but Sierra Canyon. We started covering Sierra Canyon when they were in the old Mid Valley Division. We saw several memorable games that they played against Paraclete and would follow them through the playoffs. They even played Arroyo one year in the playoffs. And of course there was that classic that they played in the State playoffs (and lost) a few years ago against San Marino. So we continue to cover them (as much as we can) even though they are now in Division 3. Great program.

This just in: Jayden Daniels has already scored a touchdown in this game, just by virtue of being so awesome. Ask Downey how that works.
