I don’t think mtn view administration wants to control the head coach; they are very very acclimated to losing=1 playoff in like 30 years. Yes it is possible that they are weak minded and possibly afraid of ‘MV may become good and they then may know that all along they thought the kids could not win’; and maybe school is suffering from MV football syndrome . TOO many schools are run by administrators that never liked sports. Many do not care

If they don’t want to hire him because of his kneeling, they should either have the guts to say so, or at least make a bit of effort to tell a better lie.

Dale Ziola is named the coach at Covina High School. Ziola was turned down at Nogales and at Mt View… yes our lowly mt view Vikings turned him down. He most recently was an assistant coach for Arroyo this past year.

There is no way Kaepernick could possibly fit into a system designed for a QB like Alex Smith. Josh Johnson, despite not throwing a pass in anger since the 2011 season, is clearly the best choice.

Following the new trend which says assistants are key, I hear Ohio State will keep Ryan Day as the nominal head coach for at least five years, while the team cycles through various offensive coordinators to see which one does best. Clay Helton and Travis Brown were quick to endorse this move.
