1. The Dodgers beat Pittsburgh 7-6 Sunday to complete a three game sweep of the Pirates at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers, who are 19-11 and in first place in NL West by two games over the San Diego Padres, play the Giants Monday night in San Francisco.

2. Cody Bellinger is hitting .427 with 14 home runs and 36 RBI on the year. He leads the National League in batting average and runs batted in and is tied with Milwaukee’s Christian Yelich in home runs.

3. After taking Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray with the number one overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals traded quarterback Josh Rosen to the Miami Dolphins for a second round pick and a 2020 fifth round draft pick.

4. The Rams selected Washington safety Taylor Rapp (2nd Round), RB Darrell Henderson from Memphis (3rd Round) and cornerback David Long, Michigan (3rd Round) with their first three draft picks.

5. New York Giants sixth round pick, cornerback Corey Ballentine from Washburn University, is hospitalized after sustaining a gunshot wound.

6. The Golden State Warriors beat the Houston Rockets 104-100 Sunday in the first game of the second round Western Conference Playoff series.

7. The Boston Celtics routed the Milwaukee Bucks 112-90 Sunday in Game 1 of the second round Eastern Conference Playoff series.

8. On this day in 1986 New York Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens struck out 20 Seattle Mariners.

9. Former UCLA/Indiana Pacers star Reggie Miller turns 54 today.
