1. Harlem Globetrotters legend Fred “Curly” Neal passed away Thursday at the age of 77.

2. Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood, who tested positive for the coronavirus and has been in isolation since March 11, has now been cleared of coronavirus.

3. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry interviewed Dr. Anthony Fauci director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, about the coronavirus pandemic. The 30 minute interview averaged close to 50,000 viewers.

4. The NFL draft will go on as scheduled April 23-25 commissioner Roger Goodell said in a league-wide memo Thursday.

5. Former Minnesota Vikings All-Pro cornerback Xavier Rhodes will sign a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

6. Former Dodgers/Houston Astros star outfielder Jimmy “The Toy Cannon” Wynn passed away Thursday at the age of 78.

7. The Dodgers would have opened the 2020 season Thursday against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium. Opening Day has been postponed due to the coronavirus.

8. Former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham turns 57 today.

9. On this day in 1978 Jack “Goose” Givens scored 41 points to lead Kentucky to a 94-88 win over Duke to win the NCAA championship.

10. In 1974 Jimmy Wynn batted .271 with 32 home runs and 108 RBI while playing centerfield for the Dodgers, who advanced to the World Series that year where they fell to the Oakland A’s in five games.

    A man goes to the doctor because he’s feeling very ill. The Doc says “I’ve got good news and bad news…the bad news is, you’ve got a killer flu; the good news is, it’s not the coronavirus.”
