  1. The Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 8-3 in Game 1 of the World Series Tuesday night. 
  2. Sierra Vista’s first day of conditioning for football will be Monday, October 26th. 
  3. The Miami Dolphins named Tua Tagovailoa their starting quarterback. 
  4. The Dallas Cowboys were routed by the Arizona Cardinals 38-10 on Monday Night Football. 
  5. The Cowboys are in first place in the NFC East at 2-4, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles at 1-4-1, the New York Giants and the Washington Football Team, both at 1-5.
  6. The Indiana Pacers named former Toronto Raptors assistant Nate Bjorkgren as their new head coach. 
  7. The Rams signed kicker Kai Forbath Tuesday. 
  8. The LA Galaxy beat Vancouver 1-0 Sunday night but are still last in the Western Conference with a record of 5-9-3.
  9. Houston Astros pitcher Zach Greinke turns 37 today.
