Saturday December 11 Kickoff 6:00 p.m.

Northview (9-6) at Sacred Heart Cathedral (7-7) Kezar Stadium, San Francisco

Northview has now won five straight including the Division 10 CIF championship two weeks ago over St. Anthony and a win over Colony last week in the 4-A State first round. The defense has met every challenge and the offense led by a one – two punch ground attack of Ronal Tebo Jr. and Cheo Medina, and some clutch throws by quarterback James Arellanes, has been getting the job done.

Sacred Heart’s season played out in the same fashion as Northview’s. The Vikings started the season 2-5 before getting on track. Sacred Heart started 0-5 before warming up. The Fightin’ Irish have finally hit .500.

Who’s going to win? Well I picked against Northview last week against Colony and in the semis vs. Palmdale, although I did have them beating St. Anthony in the CIF Finals. The Vikings won CIF, why not State? Northview brings home the Trophy.

@ Tank: You’re the only one who’s gone off-topic on this particular thread. And, you just made a political or social comment yourself while criticizing others for doing the same thing.
I wish the Northview Vikings the best of luck in their state championship game tonight.

Well said, Question. And thanks for not stating any beliefs or jabs, here, on the plandemic and masking like others do.

If Perez can win this State title, how will it compare with the triumph of Cineceros in a similar situation a few years ago? Those who pine about this being a lower division and Northview’s sluggish start would do well to understand that high school teams, being composed of very young kids who are learning the value of hard work and team play, often come together to play in a way that hardly resembles what they did just a month or two prior. Best of luck to our local state title entry.
