  4. John Madden, the Hall of Fame Coach and iconic broadcaster. passed away Tuesday at the age of 85. 
  5. Houston beat Auburn 17-13 in the TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl Tuesday. 
  6. The Lakers beat the Houston Rockets 132-123 Tuesday night to snap a five-game losing streak and improve to 17-18 on the year. 
  7. Rams at Baltimore Ravens, Sunday 10:00 A.M. FOX. 
  8. New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton turns 58 today. 
  9. On this day in 1974 the Minnesota Vikings beat the Rams 14-10 in the NFC Championship game in Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minnesota.

    The best football on TV by far are the FCS, Dll, Dlll playoff games. Good football,good players.
