  1. Los Altos beat Temple City 3-2 Saturday to win the CIF Division 6 Boys Soccer championship. 
  2. Arcadia beat Diamond Bar 11-1 Saturday which marked the 300th career victory for Coach Nick Lemas. 
  3. Rams head coach Sean McVay reportedly turned down a possible $100 million TV deal from Amazon to stay with the Rams. 
  4. Former NFL running back Lionel “Little Train” James, who spent five years with the San Diego Chargers, passed away Friday at the age of 59. 
  5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl left guard Ali Marpet retired after seven seasons. 
  6. Former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs as senior assistant and quarterbacks coach. 
  7. LAFC opened the 2022 MLS season with a 3-0 win over the Colorado Rapids Saturday as Carlos Vela had a hat trick. 
  8. Marshall beat Hemet 4-3 Saturday to win the CIF Division 5 Girls Soccer championship. 
  9. USC beat Oregon 70-69 Saturday to improve to 25-4 on the season. The 25 wins is the most in program history. 
  10. Ja Morant set a Memphis Grizzlies regular season record with 46 points in a 116-110 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

    Congratulations to Los Altos soccer team their CIF championship!! Speaking of LA what is going on with the football program? Still no head coached named.
