Looks like a down year at the Ranch. Always predicted to be last in league. Rumor mill has it a couple of untested guys have popped up that pass the eye test. Keeping them under wraps. QB situation may not be as bad as thought but won’t be worked out until game #1. Defense again is the strength and coach always manages to pull rabbits out of his hat on offense. Looking forward to the rumble.
How do you have someone’s number if you didn’t even beat them last year? Such a stupid statement. Cal hi with all 3 returning starters is going to beat who? You’ll be lucky to win 3 games all year, no one cares what happened on JV last year.
As far as the defensive mvp thing, a coach can’t vote for his own players, talk to the coach at LS, Cal, Whittier and SF about what they think of that LB who earned defensive MVP. Missed a lot of tackles? Some of the best players miss multiple tackles, some of the stupidity that is said on these boards is incredible, a kid has to be “perfect” to be given credit now? That is insane and idiotic. Don’t be surprised when you hear about a couple more key players ending up at the ranch in the next few weeks.
Yeah, i saw the game streamed and your LB missed a lot of tackles. When you play against an easier schedule then i can see where u think they are solid. Who was the MVP at ER? i thought La serna would own that. I know you guys like to hype your team up. good luck this season. playing for 2nd place. I think Cal has your number this year.
No one from the lower level stands out because ER’s JV was entirely freshmen last season, they played against a bunch of sophomores and juniors on JV. Theres some kids who can play but they need another year to get up to varsity speed. Returning league Def. MVP, solid WR’s and DB’s, solid LB’s, a stud who started some games on the DL as a freshmen, an OLB/DE hybrid who was in on almost every play last season, a solid QB with a canon made his way home too. Can ER give LS a game? That’s hard to say since LS returns almost their whole team, that’s going to be a tough one regardless.

QB & RB … we have been blessed to have one of the top QB’s & RB’s in the area an easy 5 out of the last 6 years … best believe our boys will be rewdybeee
@ ER key pieces? Definitely, no standouts at the lower level moving up to V and I highly doubt anyone would transfer in. No QB either will hurt you. It’s cool to think you have a chance but good luck.
Idk about that one. ER returns key pieces at almost every position except RB, a couple of nice additions always find their way into the program, this year probably more than ever. This isn’t pandemic football, sorry.
ER gonna take the L vs Cal. NO QB this year and soft LB’s. OK RB’s but we’ll see. They might have to pound the ball.

We are loaded this year! BEST DB’s in the AREA. You think we were good last year, your in for a rude awakening. I just hope they keep it clean when we start running up the score. Last year the huevos rancheros started playing dirty, and even the ghetto parents started yelling at us. Completely out of line. No wonder SNL made a skit of ghetto Pico Rivera. Why don’t they take them out the DRL and put ER with the rest of the Ghetto teams like Almont League or Mission Valley?

The anonymous post is one of the many reasons why La Serna gets no respect from MVS readers. They have had decades to learn some class but just get worse. Medrano kindly extended them an invite and this is their RSVP.

I’m surprised the delicate flowers aren’t protesting this being called a RUMBLE.
This looks like a no-go to me, but if you decide to attend, you’ll want to get vaccinated against the long-lingering Pioneer Virus, which is known to cause serious losing and possible removal from league. I’m shocked that anyone would let this team out of its 605 conference quarantine.
La Serna, Monrovia, Culver City, the winner will come from those 3.
San Dimas understands this is a passing tournament right? Or if they do this might be the only chance their receivers get a shot at the ball.

Surprised to see Pioneer in a passing tournament. Juarez usually thinks tourneys are a waste of money so they just practice at home and then wait to take their lumps during the season. If you want your kid to get some playing time transfer to Pioneer. He will start both ways.
Always a good mix if middle division teams.
