@NBA, Sure. I, for one, agree to certain extent. However, Iverson was real. What you see is what you get, and he earned his stripes. Yet, I have to say, I definitely think his spiel about “practice . . . ” was definitely misguided and thereby served as a bad influence. That aside, there are a bunch of tattooed fakes running around causing trouble who haven’t earned a thing following in his example in terms of image. He earned much (not all) of it. I mean “Real recognize real”, right?
