@ElRanchito18
Well anything after this year will certainly be better lol
What size LS shirt you need? I know its 7xl or above so let me know ASAP so I can get Omar the Tent Maker to get right on it for you 👍
@LS FAN – lol… say what you want… my program don’t SELLOUT for a win… LAME
ER will be better next year because they couldn’t get any worse…
No humble Pie here…
no hiding , no crying , you can keep your twain quote LOL..
we will get better this offseason, believe that…
South Pasadena defeated Pasadena Poly 51-28 to officially clinch a share of league title with Monrovia and San Marino
@ mid valley worst to first
That was impressive.
Mid Valley Worse to First?
You sound dumb. What is your point? Eliminate all the mediocre teams to satisfy your moronic take? How about you just don’t watch football? Maybe you feel better
CIF has posted the final Calpreps rankings for all 373 11-man football teams in the southern section. I have sorted-out the 27 teams in the Mid Valley coverage zone, and hereby present them, worst to first: Keppel, Pioneer, Mt. View, Rosemead, Alhambra, Glenn, El Monte, Whittier, Bell Gardens, El Rancho, Montebello, Cal, San Gabriel, South El Monte, Arroyo, Santa Fe, South Hills, Los Altos, Schurr, West Covina, Covina, Charter Oak, San Dimas, Muir, Burroughs, Diamond Ranch, Chino, Glendora, Cathedral, Chino Hills, Downey, St Paul, La Serna, St Francis, Warren, and (drum roll please) Bishop Amat. You can view the power ratings at the CIFSS.ORG site. As a bonus for reading this far, the absolute worst 11-man team out of the 373 was Desert Chapel with a power rating of -82….the absolute best was St John Bosco, coming in at 87.6.
With this ranking in hand, it hardly seems necessary to go through the postseason, because this regular-season reckoning show what the various clubs have done over a longer haul than the playoffs provide. But, since there’s money to be made and participation trophies to be hoisted, why not?
@Anonymous you have to admit if Mtn. View gets invited to the show, it’s a step in the right direction. After a long CIF playoff drought. When a program has been under performing in football for so long any positive movement in the right direction is good. Seems to me, you’re more worried about getting embarrassed in the 1st round of CIF, knowing that Mtn. Views league play was subpar. I personally agree with @Watcher, if Mtn. View gets in it would be nice. If my memory serves me right Mtn. View has accomplished a CIF playoff berth 4 times as a 3rd place MVL qualifier. They have all been 1st round playoff exits as well. Some losses by large margins. Would a 2nd round playoff exit change your current perception? Would you change places with a Rosemead HS or Gabrielino HS current state of affairs with their football program? Let’s hope for the best…..
El Rancho’s QAnon 18 , what a nut job who now has no choice but to be meek. Enjoy that humble pie down at the bunker.

So la Puente and MV both losing records last year and the coaches sucked, now this year both with winning records and the coaches still suck? Haha you’re a clown, both teams must be doing something right @anonymous if they have you hating on them
MV gets in or not don’t matter just said it would be nice after such a long playoff drought. A lot of 3-7 teams got in last year.
My eyes and their history.
Anonymous LS? not going to happen
The Watcher still on the bandwagon even after 2 below average seasons?
@Watcher La Puente is the worse 8-2 team out there, but so is MV they have to be the worse 6-4 MVL team in history. Maybe MV should schedule La Puente next year that would make a great game, maybe even an exciting game. La Puente and MV are a perfect match. Who would win? Both teams are poorly coached and are true frauds to their records. MV getting a D14 would be awful, they run the ball and are predictable and there’s no secret what side they want to run the ball. They pretend to be a smash mouth football team but once their OLine get smacked in the mouth they become the pushovers. They’ll keep running the ball expecting a different result, it’s inept. Any average team stops them.
@ The Watcher
Your criteria for rating coaches?
Moronic take
El Rancho coaches need to be fired. Cal coaches need to be fired. Santa Fe coaches deserve coach of the year. Way to turn around the program. La Serna well they need to get out of the DRL . Whittier no words
Is it success or great scheduling ? He’s relegated them
Good luck in the playoffs!
@Bassett dad what I see is Bassett had a good defense. But offense is what kept them from going 3-0 in league. Hopefully coach sticks around and they have a full off season program.
Most of your matchups beyond improbable due to wide CalPreps differential and 2+ divisions apart . SEM vs Wilson could happen and would be good one
Disappointed Bassett losing 3 in a row plenty of opportunities to win those games and win league but feel short, not sure what the future holds as the team is losing alot of seniors bright future is the QB and he’s a freshman.
When will the brackets come out?
Man who cares let la puente enjoy some success. How else do you think LaRon is going to get more kids out to play. Nobody is saying la puente is top team etc. seems odd for a grown man to belittle this school who is working hard to bring some improvement.
Alhambra has lost 4 in a row to SG.
La Puente is one of the worse 8-2 teams I have seen. I was able to see some film on them and a half of one of their games. Awful. A average coach like Spathias or Gallardo would have went 10-0 with all blowouts.
Northview isn’t going to lose a game on purpose that’s one of the best coaches in the San Gabriel valley and staff it happens. I see it more as being 8-1 beating two teams DR struggled with got in the kids head and they took their football off the gas at practice and early in the game and it cost them.
Four mission valley teams got in last year maybe MV gets a D14 bid that would be nice.
Baldwin Park shut out Wilson has some players in the right division they could make a run with that ground attack. If BP gets a well coached team in round 1 they’ll be out.
Surprises might be coming for teams today. Maybe
A few playoff matches I would love to see
Schurr /Santa Fe
San Gabriel/La Puente
Baldwin Park/Arroyo
La Serna/Amat
Damien/Inglewood
South El Monte/Wilson
Nogales/The World
When coach Eric resigning
The ER Dons have done the improbable in finishing 0-4 in league, leaving supporters to scratch their heads over this collapse. Few would maintain that this result stems from injuries alone; at this point, the program’s leadership must be questioned.
Crescenta Valley 20 Arcadia 14
Yup, congrats to Santa Fe. Once La Serna gets sandbagged and kicked out of the league for being too good, Santa Fe will be top dog once more with everyone else fighting for second. Which is a-okay because league doesn’t matter anymore with this playoff format.
Congrats to Santa Fe, good bounce back from last year. Truly wish we could’ve given this league a better challenge this year. Hope to bounce back next year, this league needs everyone to just get better.
The Santa Fe Chiefs have done the improbable in finishing 3-1 in league and earning a spot in next week’s playoffs. Best of luck with the CIF divisional seeding process.
San Gabriel 21 Alhambra 3 Final
