  1. The Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 Thursday night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. 
  2. The Lakers ae targeting UConn head coach Dan Hurley as their new head coach. According to ESPN they are prepared to offer Hurley a massive, long-term deal. 
  3. Diamond Ranch is looking for an experienced varsity offensive line coach. DM head coach Chris Williams on Twitter (X) is interested. 
  4. Dodgers TV announcer Stephen Nelson said “Get down ball!” on a fly ball hit by Freddie Freeman Wednesday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates. 
  5. The Dodgers beat the Pirates 11-7 Thursday night but lost two out of three in the series. 
  6. Former NBA guard Delonte West was arrested in Virginia early Thursday morning on multiple charges of violating the conditions of his release and resisting arrest. 
  7. Charter Oak wide receiver Legend Lyons received an offer from the University of Kansas.
