  3. UCLA fired offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy after one season and is hiring Indiana co-offensive coordinator Tino Sunseri to replace him. 
  4. The Lakers lost to the Miami Heat 134-93 Wednesday night. 
  5. Bill Belichick has had discussions with North Carolina about the Tar Heels head coaching job. 
  6. The Athletics signed right-hander Luis Severino to a three-year, $67 million contract.

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was placed on injured reserve Wednesday and is likely out of the year. Lawrence suffered a concussion Sunday on a late hit by Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.
