1. The Clippers signed Ben Simmons who was recently bought out by the Brooklyn Nets.

2. The Lakers trade for Charlotte Hornets center Mark Willliams has been rescinded by the NBA.  The Lakers were set to send Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish along with two draft picks to Charlotte.

3. The New York Jets are expected to move on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. 

4. Luka Doncic scored 14 points in his Laker debut in a 132-113 win over the Utah Jazz Monday night. 

5. The New Orleans Saints have hired former Philadelphia Eagles OC Kellen Moore as their new head coach.

6. Anthony Davis, who the Lakers traded to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Doncic, was injured in his first game with the Mavericks and could be out four to six weeks with a left abductor strain.  

7. Super Bowl LIX Sunday was the most watched Super Bowl in history with 127.7 million viewers.

8. The Dodgers re-signed Kike Hernandez to a one-year, $6.5 million contract. 

9. Former Houston Texans OC Bobby Slowik will join the Miami Dolphins staff as Senior Passing Game Coordinator.  

10. The Angels signed closer Kenley Jansen to a one-year, $10 million deal.
