  1. After San Dimas beat St. Joseph’s 6-3 in the first round of the State Baseball playoffs Tuesday, the Saints fell to Point Loma 6-4 Thursday in the CIF Semi-Final State Regionals in San Diego. 
  2. Northview wide receiver Isaiah Lucero decommitted from San Diego State and committed to Fresno State.

  4. The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-110 Thursday night on a last second shot by Tyrese Haliburton in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. 
  5. The Dodgers beat the Mets 6-5 Thursday to split the four-game series with New York. 
  6. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers sources say. 
  7. The Dodgers are 30-25 since starting the season 8-0. 
  8. Covina wide receiver Matt Olivas, class of ’26, has transferred to Northview.  
  9. Edmonton beat Florida 4-3 in overtime Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. 
  10. Michigan has offered class of ’27 safety Charles Woodson Jr., from Orlando, Florida. Woodson Jr. is the son of Michigan 1997 Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson.

    I actually shut off the TV a couple minutes into the fourth quarter of this one, based on the fact that the Pacers hadn’t been able to make much of a dent in the Thunder’s lead. When I clicked onto the final score, I thought my eyes were tricking me. Wow…Ralph Lawler’s “first to 100 wins” was overruled in this game.
