By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Glendora jumped out to a 28-12 halftime lead and went on to beat Downey 47-35 Friday night to win the CIF Division 2A title at Felix Event Center on the campus of Azusa Pacific University.

Dogs Almost Get Bit, 71-68

(Pasadena) – Pasasdena squandered all of a 16 point lead in the fourth quarter but recovered in time to escape with a 71-68 win over Downey Friday night in the first round of the Division 1AA CIF Playoffs.

The Peterson Principle 2/11/13

The basketball playoff pairings were announced Sunday and again some of the brackets left you scratching your head. Baldwin Park is traveling to Beaumont. I hope that gas bill fits into the school budget.
