(La Canada) – Covina racked up 21 points in the fourth quarter to close out St. Francis 50-41 Friday night and advance to the third round of the CIF Division 3A playoffs.
(Covina) – Stephen Van Spronsen’s jumper in the lane with 24 seconds left lifted Maranatha to a 54-52 win over Covina Friday night in the second round of the Division 4A CIF playoffs.
(Azusa) – Covina held off a late rally to beat Chino 59-53 Friday to win the Azusa Tournament.
(Baldwin Park) – Baldwin Park hit nine three point shots including four in the first quarter and went on to beat Covina 72-51 Friday night in Valle Vista League action.
