By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – San Dimas’ defense rose to the occasion and the offense did enough to beat Bonita 19-8 Saturday night at Citrus College and keep the Smudge Pot in the Saints possession for another year.

Bearcats Have an Angel on their Side, 23-14

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Angel Verdugo ran for three touchdowns and the Bonita defense forced three turnovers as the Bearcats beat San Dimas 23-14 Thursday night in the annual battle for the Smudgepot at Citrus College.

Saints Survive Smudge!

(Citrus College)-  Andrew Espinoza scored from eight yards out with 2:00 left in the fourth quarter and Erick Ware calmly booted home the extra point to give San Dimas a remarkable 37-36 win over Bonita Thursday night to capture the Smudgepot. The Bearcats had one last gasp but a 49 yard field goal attempt by Brandt Davis fell short.
