By Corey Kwok (Los Altos HS) – South Hills, tested in the first half by a well prepared Los Altos squad parlayed a safety and four unanswered touchdowns into a 29-7 win Friday night in nonleague action.  

Muir Blanks Hoover

By Corey Kwok (Glendale) – Ormoni Duncan stripped the ball from Tornado quarterback AJ Pule inside the one and ran it back 99 yards to the house in the second quarter to propel Muir to a 25-0 win over Hoover Thursday night in Pacific League action.  

Braves Secure Playoff Berth

(Covina) – Manny Salcedo ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead Baldwin Park to a 33-6 win over Northview Thursday night at Covina District Field. The Braves improved to 3-0 in the Valle Vista League with the victory and clinched a playoff berth.

Pasadena 48 Glendale 0   Pasadena racked up over 400 yards rushing in a 48-0 rout of Glendale in Pacific League action. Revealing a new double- wing offense the Bulldogs incorporated eight running backs into the ground attack.

(Rosemead) – Matt Fregoso scored four touchdowns, all in the third quarter, to lead Rosemead to a 41-7 rout of Mountain View Friday night at Marinelli Field.
