(La Mirada) – La Mirada senior offensive linemen Michael Trani has committed to California Berkeley Matadore Coach Mike Moschetti confirmed Saturday.

(La Verne) – Bishop Amat beat Upland to win the championship at the Air Assault Saturday at Bonita High School. Culver City won the consolation championship game against Santiago. The two day event featured 30 teams and started Friday afternoon.

Mixing it up at Maranatha
(Pasadena) – Maranatha, welcomed Workman, El Monte, Keppel, and Roosevelt to toss it around late Tuesday afternoon. “Just another boring passing scrimmage” one might say. Not hardly. In fact this is one of the reasons why I love passing league. You always come away with something new, something interesting, something you didn’t know before. For instance guess who’s the new quarterback at Keppel?
