By Duane Barker (El Monte) The Arroyo Knights traveled south to Mountain View High School to take on the Vikings in the Mission Valley League opener for both teams. It turned out to be a one-sided affair as the Knights hammered the Vikings to the tune of 51-0

Long Night For Condors

Gonzalez WHITTIER —The La Serna Lancers opened Del Rio league play on a cold Friday night against the California Condors and took a 7-0 lead into halftime but then scored 34 unanswered points after intermission en route to a 41-0 blowout win over the Condors at Sandy Thorstenson Stadium.

(Monrovia) The Monrovia Wildcats hosted the San Dimas Saints Friday night at Monrovia High School and were run over by a motivated Saints running attack who ran their way to a 48-28 victory.
