1. Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones left Monday night’s game with the Jets with a foot injury and could be lost for the season.

2. The Oakland Raiders release quarterback Matt Flynn.

3. The Red Sox beat the Rays 3-1 to advance to the ALCS against the winner of the Detroit-Oakland series.

4. USC receiver Marquise Lee has not practiced since injuring his knee against Arizona state and is “very questionable” for Thursday night’s game with Arizona.

5. UCLA defensive lineman Ellis McCarthy missed practice Monday with an injury and is questionable for Cal Saturday.

6. Denver’s Peyton Manning has thrown 20 touchdown passes and just one interception in five games.

7. West Covina has allowed 210 points in six games this year to lead the Hacienda League. Rowland is next at 188.
