1. The Cleveland Cavaliers get the number one pick in the NBA Draft lottery. Milwaukee is second and Philadelphia is third. The Lakers will pick seventh.

2. “I know people talk behind my back. That’s why they’re behind me,” – Former Diamond Ranch HC Roddy Layton.

3. The Dodgers pound out 15 hits including Adrian Gonzalez’ 11th homerun of the year in a 9-4 win over the Mets.

4. Brandon League, at 1.40, has the best ERA on the Dodgers.

5. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combine to score the last 20 points for Miami as the Heat beats Indiana 87-83 to tie the Eastern Conference Finals at 1-1.

6. Minnesota is awarded the Super Bowl in 2018. The Vikings are scheduled to begin playing in a new $1 billion stadium at the site of the old Metrodome in 2016.

8. Happy Birthday to former Minnesota Twin first baseman Kent Hrbek who turns 54 today.

9. Norwalk had 70 players out at spring drills on Tuesday.

10. On this date in 1969 Henry Aaron, after 9,015 at bats, is lifted for a pinch hitter for the first time as Mike Lum hits for him and doubles in a 15-3 Braves victory over the Mets.
